The nation’s brightest minds and most committed leaders will come together at the One Water Summit 2017 to
discuss our most pressing water challenges and most promising solutions.
What is a One Water Delegation?
To enhance the Summit experience, the US Water Alliance encourages attendees to come as part of a delegation. A delegation is a group of six or more leaders who are connected by geography, issue area, or stakeholder group who attend the Summit together. Delegations are often comprised of stakeholders who are collaborating on a joint initiative or project over the coming year.
Delegations are an effective mechanism to facilitate, peer exchange, knowledge building, and navigate multiple programming options at the Summit. Delegations are formed prior to One Water Summit 2017 to maximize peer exchange and networking and to translate the learnings from the Summit back to their home regions or communities of practice.
What are the benefits of being part of a One Water Delegation?
Being part of a delegation is a powerful way to work with strategic partners on the implementation of one water management in your region or communities of practice after the Summit. Some of the special features that the US Water Alliance offers One Water Delegations, include:
Discounted Registration. One Water Delegations will receive a discounted registration of $395 per person—a nearly 50 percent discount off of the full registration cost.
Pre and Post Summit Briefing Sessions. US Water Alliance CEO and Deputy Directors are available for strategy discussions with each One Water Delegation to maximize the Summit experience.
Delegation-Only Networking Session at the Summit. During the Summit in New Orleans, there will be a networking session for One Water Delegations to build stronger relationships across regions and communities of practice.
Publication in the Summit Program. Delegations will be listed in the Summit program with a description of their work in advancing a sustainable water future.
Opportunity for Guest Column. The US Water Alliance requests that each Delegation provide a column that shares their perspective and innovations on one water management. This column will be featured on the US Water Alliance blog, newsletter, and social media channels, which each reach a large national audience.
