In The Thriving Adolescent, Louise Hayes and Joseph Ciarrochi describe a new way of formulating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) when working with adolescents. The DNA-v model integrates ACT technology with ideas from positive psychology to bring a truly developmental focus to your work with young people. It’s all about mindfulness and growth.
This cohort-based online course offers a unique opportunity to learn DNA-v and develop skills using this formulation in a small group setting with author Louise Hayes. For two hours once a month, you'll explore an aspect of DNA-v. The course will include role plays, case discussions, consultation, and peer support in the small online group setting. The course sessions will have two components:
This online training is perfect for you if you're interested in the DNA-v model and work with adolescents. Together with a cohort of like-minded professionals, you will deepen your knowledge of ACT and its application to adolescents and their families. This is a unique opportunity to work with Louise Hayes, the co-founder of the DNA-v model in a small group setting that will supercharge your skills.
All sessions of this course will run on Tuesdays, once-a-month. At registration, choose to join either:
Cohort A (meets 3:30 - 5:30pm Pacific Time) or
Cohort B (meets 6:00 - 8:00pm Pacific Time).
Convert Pacific Time to your local time.
*Please note that CE credit will be awarded at the end of the course. Amount of credits will depend on number of completely attended sessions.
