This webinar is all about how to put pen to paper and get a story rolling. It’s part foundational storytelling skill and part advocacy strategy. Over the hour, we’ll cover the following:
Throughout the webinar, participants will begin crafting their own stories and do some call-and-response using the online chat box. Beginners and seasoned writers will walk away with a handy set of references to spark any story.

Lisa Kagan comes from a long line of storytellers and is a communications analyst and story coach. She teaches her clients how to build stories to amplify their work, make data relatable, and compel listeners to action. She has taught storytelling to nonprofits, university staff, and communications professionals, helping them grow the tiniest spark of a story into a fire. Lisa's blog, lisakagan.com, is aimed at nonprofits and advocates and is full of observations and tips about persuasive storytelling. Lisa has worked at several mission-driven consulting firms and holds a master's degree in social work with a concentration in public policy.
