In order to cultivate Oregon’s agritourism potential and develop this segment of the tourism industry, Travel Oregon has worked to create an Oregon Agritourism Network - a partnership of farmers, ranchers, tour operators, agencies and associations with expertise and interest in developing Oregon as the premier place for authentic agritourism experiences. To achieve this vision, the Network meets three times per year to address strategies aimed to fufill goals in the areas of policy, marketing, industry standards, education, and economic impact.
Oregon Agritourism Network meetings are open to the public and are held in various locations throughout the state. Each meeting features presentations which highlight exceptional agritourism operators and includes discussion about key resources and best practices that will benefit the industry, in addition to updates from action teams working on priority statewide projects. Participants will come away with an increased knowledge on agritourism initiatives at the local, regional and state level and deeper connections with industry peers.
