Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the association. A current BLS-HCP card is required before registering for this course. • Certification cards for PALS providers are valid for two years. It is the cardholder’s responsibility to contact a training center or institution to arrange for a renewal course and written exam. • PALS provider and renewal courses are limited to the first 18 qualified pre-paid registrants. CANCELLATION POLICY No refunds will be made for cancellation however, a prepaid registrant may send a qualified substitute. The Division of Continuing Health Professional Education must be notified prior to the course. Also, the CHPE division reserves the right to cancel the program if sufficient pre-registrations are not received. In case of cancellation, all registrants will be notified and registration fees will be refunded. The cost of the textbook will also be assessed if not returned or not returned in like new condition.
