In celebration of National Drinking Water Week, Penn State Extension and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection along with numerous other sponsors invite you to attend the 2015 Pennsylvania Groundwater Symposium at the Ramada Inn Conference Center in State College, PA.
The Symposium theme: “An Unconventional Look at PA Groundwater” will provide a forum for researchers, students, professionals and educators working in the groundwater field to exchange information and promote protection of groundwater resources throughout the state.
The daylong symposium will begin at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 with a keynote presentation focusing on groundwater and unconventional gas drilling. The remainder of the day will feature numerous concurrent sessions and a buffet lunch. Registration will open and a full agenda for the symposium will be available by the end of February.
A nominal registration fee of approximately $30 for the symposium is made possible thanks to the generous funding support of our sponsors. We hope you can join us for this event showcasing Pennsylvania's valuable groundwater resource!
Abstracts will be accepted through January 30, 2015 for oral or poster presentations on a wide variety of groundwater topics including:
