Using the PIAAC Databases for Interdisciplinary Research

Educational Testing Service (ETS), in collaboration with the American Institute for Research (AIR), with funding from the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), is sponsoring 2 ADDITIONAL!! training workshops for researchers to explore and use data from the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC).

These workshops are designed for those who want to go beyond computing basic statistics with the PIAAC databases. During the workshops participants will be trained to conduct simple and complex analysis with the PIAAC data. The general day-to-day schedule of the workshops will include both presentations and hands-on practical assignments using the PIAAC databases.  Accommodation and sustenance costs to participate in these workshops will be funded by a grant from IES.  For details on the funding available for these workshops, please refer to the "Workshop Fees and Funding" page.
