Policy and Guideline Writing for nurses and midwives - Waterloo

This interactive workshop is designed to give nurses and midwives the beginning skills to develop a document, either policy or clinical guideline for their workplace.

Participants can expect to learn about how to start, what words to use, layout, using evidence to support the content, arranging content, developing key performance indicators (KPIs), appraisal of the document, implementation and evaluation.

Each workshop is tailored to the participants needs.

Please bring a policy or guideline that is relevant to your learning needs with you on the day.

If you have a laptop you may bring this along with you so that you can start working on a policy or guideline immediately.
