2:00-5:00pm Students of all ages, with their parents, will learn the Applied Design Process as they work on design projects together in this hands on afternoon of fun and learning! **Please bring recyclables and scissors.
3:30-5:00pm Join Natalie in learning about the many aspects of the Learning Commons. Bring your computers if you would like to go step by step through how to book items on the L4U and how to borrow ebook resources from Overdrive. Learn about the many HCOS subscriptions and other services that we offer in the Learning Commons. This session will help you to find what you need and answer your question on how to use the Learning Commons fully.
5-6:30pm Potluck dinner (also time to run children home if desired)
6:30-7:30pm Parents will learn why and how to tap into their child's curiosity, creativity and ingenuity using the Applied Design process within Project Based Learning.
**This is a family event, parents need to remain on site and are responsible for the care and supervision of their children.
