Staff Educator Certification Course
Same as the Staff Development Specialist Certification
The Post-Acute Care Staff Educator course is designed to provide the core knowledge required to administer and provide instruction in a long term care facility’s staff development program. It includes an extensive review of foundations of practice, the educational process, managing educational activities, role of the staff development professional.
CE -- 6.0
This workshop is intended for nurses who plan, coordinate, or provide staff development activities in long term care.
Students attending the program will receive training in:
REQUIRMENTS FOR OBTAINING CERTIFICATION
To obtain the certification and 6.0 contact hours, the attendee must:
1. Hold an active RN license within a state or territory of the United States of America.
2. Have one (1) year experience working in long-term care, home health and/or hospitals.
3. Complete the course.
4. Apply and pay the certification application fee of ($100). Certification fee is NOT included in course fee.
5. Yearly renewal (There is a renewal fee).
