You may have heard that a number of Zika virus cases have been reported in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami. Florida health officials have a mosquito control program in place for the affected neighborhood and are using aerial treatment of areas with products that rapidly reduce numbers of both young and adult mosquitoes which can help to limit the number of mosquitoes that carry the Zika virus.

Visit CDC's website for more information:

The Power Delivery and Utilization Advisory Councils review the progress of ongoing research within their respective collaborative R&D programs, identify new issues requiring resolution, and prioritize the future research programs to meet the needs of the industry, decision-makers, and the public. Program Advisory Council meetings are also excellent opportunities to exchange information and experiences with your industry peers and to identify information and technology that contributes to the success of your company.
Program Advisory Councils review past year accomplishments, refine the current year activities, and plan the future program R&D portfolio. Advisors are invited to participate in the meetings, which are held twice each year. Attendance is strongly encouraged as a benefit of your EPRI membership.
