Learn more about the POWER Initiative at ARC's spring 2016 regional workshops
supports efforts to create a more vibrant economic future for coal-impacted communities and regions across the United States.
This April and May, the Appalachian Regional Commission is holding regional workshops in Appalachia
to help communities learn more about POWER Initiative funding opportunities. Participants will learn how to determine whether they are eligible for POWER support; how to identify potential projects and collaborators; and how to develop project proposals to apply for POWER funding.

The workshops are open to all community members.
ARC encourages communities to send teams that include citizens, local leaders, industry representatives, economic development officials, and representatives of private, public, and nonprofit organizations.
