This event is closed. If you have any questions, please contact the event planner directly.
Learn how NAEYC Assessors evaluate group-specific evidence during an NAEYC site visit so that teaching staff know how best to prepare themselves, their classroom environment, and their classroom portfolios for assessment. Join this workshop to:
• Use Observable Criteria and Program Portfolio tools to make group quality improvements
• Create a sample Classroom Portfolio that reflects high-quality practices
• Discuss effective strategies leading up to observations
Note: This workshop is designed for early childhood professionals working with center- and school-based programs serving young children with prior knowledge of NAEYC Accreditation who want more in-depth knowledge of how to prepare for the assessment of their groups through classroom observations and Classroom Portfolios.
Continental breakfast will be served; lunch is on your own in the area.
