A two-day workshop covering multiple techniques in demand forecasting, tactical tools to optimise demand, and the application of Total Revenue Management across non-rooms profit centres – in meeting and events, the restaurant and the spa.
This workshop builds on the core concepts of revenue management and explores how to integrate the business processes related to revenue management to respond to market opportunities more precisely. The workshop focuses on the theory behind demand forecasting, the types of forecasting and the relationship between forecasting, accuracy and profitability and use of inventory management controls, including overbooking strategies. There is use of case studies and practical application of the principles throughout.
