Stephen leads Slater and Gordon’s public sector regeneration and infrastructure team, and has been involved in some of the largest schemes in the North West including Manchester’s Airport City, Lancashire’s Samlesbury Enterprise Zone and the delivery of the Metrolink Extension to Manchester Airport.
Stephen specialises in structuring and delivering large and complex public/private regeneration and development schemes by bringing together multi-disciplinary teams in a way that is insightful and energetic . Stephen studied at Jesus College Oxford, and was recently elected as an honorary Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Mike Armstrong has lead the BBC's research into access services over the past few years, triggering significant improvements in the BBC's subtitle services and having a major impact on the BBC's understanding of the audience's needs. He is now focusing on the challenges of object based broadcasting and how metadata can be harnessed to automate production processes.
