Psychiatric Pharmacology

Summary

The Center for Lifelong Learning at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing is leading the way in continuing education and has once again joined with the UNC-CH Eschelman School of Pharmacy to offer our 4th inter-professional continuing education conference this academic year: Psychiatric Pharmacology on June 1, 2018, at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.

Join a team of health care providers to learn about the newest evidence for the use of old psychiatric medications, as well as guidelines for the newest medications in the field. Participants will get specific updates on treatment resistant depression, substance use disorders, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder. And, while the focus is on pharmacology, the effects of an alternative, adjunct treatment - equine therapy - on mental health outcomes will also be explored.

You do not want to miss this collaborative continuing education effort and the opportunity to earn continuing education hours in nursing or pharmacy. Block your calendar for June 1, 2018, and register today!

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided.
