Join us for the 11th annual Public Health Improvement Training: Advancing Performance in Agencies, Systems and Communities on April 23-24, 2013. The Public Health Improvement Training will provide opportunities for training in performance improvement topics such as:

• Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation
• National Public Health Performance Standards (NPHPS)
• Quality improvement
• State and community health assessment and improvement planning
• Performance management

Due to an overwhelming response
, we have opened up a wait list to participate in PHIT due to space restrictions. To be added to the wait list, you must register. You will be notified via email by March 28 or sooner to inform you of your registration status.

Who Should Attend?

  • Representatives from state, tribal, local or territorial health departments or board of health members interested in learning about tools to improve public health performance
  • Performance Improvement Managers within state, tribal, local and territorial health departments
  • Current or potential accreditation coordinators, NPHPS assessment or Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP) coordinators/facilitators 
  • Representatives from state associations, public health institutes, public health association affiliates, or others who work with state, tribal, local or territorial health departments to improve agency and systems performance
