Public Safety Officer's Procedural Bill of Rights Act (POBR) - FRESNO

Summary

The purpose of the POBR training is to provide the students with a contextual understanding of the origin of the Act and it’s statewide purpose. Various facets of the Act are covered, noting where and how it may arise and apply or not apply to hypothetical scenarios. The teaching objective is to have students leave the course understanding this body of law and with confidence in their ability to properly administer it.
