This workshop will complement your expertise with QAPI knowledge and skills to lead your team in quality initiatives. Workshops are taught by individuals who go through rigorous requirements to become Master Teachers and who are experts in the field.

Who is eligible to take the certification exam?
AADNS encourages all members of the interdisciplinary team who have responsibility for quality and performance improvement in their organization to complete the QCP credentialing program, including, but not limited to, the directors of nursing services, QAPI managers, nursing home administrators, nurse managers,RNs, LPNs, social service , activities directors, directors, and staff development directors. AADNS recommends that individuals have at least six months of experience with the QAPI process before taking the certification exam. If you have less than six months of experience or aren’t confident with some or all of material within the QAPI for Long-Term Care curriculum, consider taking the educational course(s) and gaining practical experience through implementing the QAPI principles in your long-term-care setting.
Exam
The certification exam is purchase separate and completed through the AADNS Classroom account. Once the exam is launch the exam, you have 90 days to complete the exam. After 90 days, the certification exam will expire if not completed. If you purchase the exam but do not launch it, it will not expire.
