Lin Marie Carey – Biography
Lin Marie is owner of Healthy Homes Radon Education and Consulting, Inc. and co-owner of Capstone Creative & Print Solutions, Inc. An Illinois State University graduate, Lin Marie has spent 18 years in Marketing and Corporate Training & Development in Illinois, Nevada, California and Colorado.
Taught with anethics-based approach to radon testing, Lin Marie teaches Home Inspectors and Independent testers how to produce credible radon resultsin real estate transactions by monitoring elements that contribute to false-high or false-low results. In 2010, she expanded her radon education reach to Illinois Realtors/Brokers through her IAR-licensed continuing education course – Radon for Realtors-DeBunking the Myths of Radon. Her ultimate goal is to help lower indoor radon levels in Illinois homes by reaching and teaching the importance of accurate radon testing in the real estate community and the importance of Radon Ready New Construction.
Lin Marie is licensed in the State of Illinois in the following areas: Continuing Education Instructor, Home Inspector, Radon Measurement, and P & C Insurance Producer. She is also pursuing her Master’s in Communication at Illinois State University and lives in Normal, Illinois with Chuck, her husband of 22 years and their three children: Riley 19, Bethany 10, and Brennan 9.
Calvin Murphy - Biography
Calvin Murphy in an Illinois licensed mitigator and is President of Allied Radon Services, Inc which is based in Mt Vernon, Illinois. He has been performing mitigations since 1988. He was first listed with the US EPARadon Proficiency program in 1988 and was then licensed by the State of Illinois in 1988. In addition to being a licensed mitigator, he is also treasurer of both the Midwest AARST Chapter and National AARST organizations, and is a founding member and treasurer of SIL Radon Awareness Task Force, Inc. In addition to radon related organizations, he is also active in his church and several Mt. Vernon based civic organizations.
