The Real Estate Appraisal Review course analyzes how the regulatory agencies and supervised institutions use appraisal reports, describes the various types of appraisal reports, explains the appraisal valuation process, identifies and describes the relevant factors about the property and the market, describes the identification aspects of highest and best use analysis step of the appraisal valuation process, describes and applies the methods of valuing land, describes, identifies, and measures the forms of depreciation, describes and applies the cost, sales comparison, and income approaches to valuation, and defines pertinent appraisal terms. The course is led by Calvin Moye.
The course is conducted and facilitated over a 4.5 day period. The participant has a variety of assignments to complete, either electronically or using printed materials. The course will begin at 8:30am on Monday and run until 5:00pm. Tuesday to Thursday the course will begin at 8:00am and run to 5:00pm. Friday the course will begin at 8:00am and adjourn at 11:30am. Please plan your travel accordingly. The attendees are required to bring a laptop for use during the course.
The course has a mandatory pre-course work that requires approximately 24 hours to complete. There is also a 70 question Assessment that must be completed one week prior to the course.
