Regulatory Basics in Long Term Care

Regulatory Basics in Long Term Care debuted 20 years ago and was a very successful intensive program. We are proud to be offering this program again in one of the most challenging of times.

This series was created for nursing home professionals new to their role, new to North Carolina, or those that simply need a booster. Nursing home executives, administrators, directors of nursing, and facility personnel are invited to register for the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association's Regulatory Basics in Long Term Care. This comprehensive three-day program will cover the complex systems of regulatory compliance requirements for long term care facilities by providing basics of all major regulatory areas, State and Federal. These areas include, but are not limited to: rulemaking, legislative process, quality indicators, survey and certification, Medicare, Medicaid, Case Mix Reimbursement, informal dispute resolution, plans of correction, federal appeals and advocacy. Designed primarily for those in health care management, this program enables participants to achieve excellence in the long term health care field.

This program differs from other education programs in that its focus is not limited to one specific area of long term care. Instead, Regulatory Basics in Long Term Care will cover a variety of interrelated topics unique to the industry. This program promises to provide a broad scope of topics pertinent to long term care.
