Resonant Leadership through Emotional Intelligence
This event will focus on the important role of emotional intelligence in becoming a resonant leader. The best leaders have more than IQ, they have EQ. Emotional intelligence means the ability to not only control, but to understand your emotions. To be a great leader you need two things, "resonance" - a powerful ability to drive emotions in a positive direction to get results and the ability to fluidly interchange among a variety of leadership styles as the situation demands. By attending this workshop led by Dr. Annie McKee, you will learn all this and more.
Dr. McKee is an expert in emotional intelligence and resonant leadership. She is an adviser to top leaders as well as a bestselling book author of Primal Leadership, Resonant Leadership, Becoming a Resonant Leader, and Management: A Focus on Leaders. Business Week dubbed her, "the high priestess of executive coaching" in their Top 100 Leaders issue. Dr. McKee claims, "My mission is to, one by one, with leader after leader, help others embrace the hope that carried me through my life. If I can help people experience hope and find their dreams, and give them the power to realize them, I will consider my life worthwhile."
