About This Show:





This 107,000 sq. ft. research facility contains 51,000 square feet of laboratory space for cell and developmental biology, bioengineering, organic chemistry, and basic medical science and 14,000 sq. ft. of support space for an animal facility and administrative offices. The building forms a "figurative bridge" linking the existing biology and chemistry buildings.

The research activities of the Department span a wide range of interests, organisms, and approaches:
Primary Areas Of Interest (Based on previous attendees): PCR, DNA Purification, Electrophoresis, Cloning/Ligation, Plasticware/Glassware, Cell Culture, DNA Sequencing, Enzymes/Reagents, HPLC/LCMS Columns, Pipettors/Tips, Protein Purification, Antibodies, Protein Expression, Electroporation, QPCR/RTPCR, Cell Separation/Magnetic Beads.
