On behalf of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (AChSHM), we invite AChSHM Fellows and trainees, general practitioners and allied health professionals to join us for the 2017 Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine Annual Scientific Meeting.
We also extend a warm invitation to our AChSHM trainees to attend the Chapter’s second Trainees’ Day being held on Sunday, 19 March 2017 (the day after the ASM).
The theme for our 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting is “Rise to the Challenge”, with our program promising to be of great value to all clinicians with an interest in Sexual Health Medicine. This year’s ASM will present a range of scientific sessions covering new treatments for gonorrhoea, transgender medicine, syphilis case presentations, PEP and PrEP, hepatitis C and Mycoplasma genitalium.
We will again host an interactive panel discussion on topical matters which delegates can raise on the day and, for the first time, include Penelope Lowe Prize trainee presentations.
In presenting our second AChSHM Trainees’ Day, we aim to provide educational and interactive sessions on topics that have been requested by our trainees such as HIV co-morbidities and complex cases, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Antimicrobial Resistance, private practice and career options, drugs and substance abuse and sexual dysfunction.
We look forward to seeing you all in Sydney for what promises to be a stimulating meeting in a great location!
