S.T.A.B.L.E. Courses 
 Sugar and Safe Care, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work and Emotional Support for the Family

Overview

The S.T.A.B.L.E. program is designed for all health care professionals who provide support to sick neonates prior to transport. Physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists and paramedics are encouraged to take this course to supplement their knowledge base to potentially improve neonatal outcomes.
There are several course options:
• The STABLE Learner Course - Initial certification or renewal
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Physical Exam and Gestational Age Assessment

Accreditation & Certification

Legacy Health System, Patient Care, 1015 NW 22nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon, 97210, is approved as a continuing education provider.  Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP8749 for a maximum of- 
  • STABLE Learner Course - initial: 8.0 contact hours
  • STABLE Learner Course - renewal: 4.0 contact hours
  • STABLE Physical Exam and Gestational Age Assessment: 3.5 contact hours
