Activity Leader Certification 

Our 3-Day (24 CEU) Activity Leader certification course will prepare you or your staff to successfully lead an activity program that engages your residents and enriches their lives. Take advantage of this Activity Leader certificate course and propel yourself forward into the industry of Assisted Living. A solid foundation of social programming will enhance every opportunity that is coming your way. 

This course will help you stay in compliance with the activity staffing requirements in California RCFE regulation 87219 and provides an overview of key activity programming information; including:

  • Resident assessment and evaluation
  • Program design
  • Implementing activities
  • Organization
  • Evaluating and critiquing activity plans

Refund Policies
It is our goal to offer the highest level of customer service possible. Due to the nature of the courses, products, and services we sell, all sales are final and nonrefundable. 

Cancellations: Course registrations fees are nonrefundable, however you have up to 24 hours following a purchase to cancel the purchase without penalty and receive a full refund after purchase. Purchase cancellation and refund requests must be made by contacting livetraininghelp@oncourselearning.com within 24 hours of purchase and will be processed as a refund back on the original card. 

Course Transfers from one registered person or course date to another: Upon written request to livetraininghelp@oncourselearning.com we will gladly transfer registration fees to another course or individual for a $25 transfer fee with at least 48 hours advance notice of the 1st day of class, after which no changes, class transfers, or credits will be allowed. Transfers must take place within a calendar year. No refunds will be given. Unless otherwise noted, all courses begin at 8:00 am. Transfers are limited to one transfer per original registration.

Late arrival: Attendees who arrive at class more than 10 minutes late may lose their seat to take the class and a refund will not be given. Courses are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment. To maintain compliance with state regulations, attendees who arrive more than 10 minutes late will not receive CEU credit for the class. Making up program hours and content may occur during scheduled free time of the program at the sole discretion of the instructor. Persons registered for an Initial Certification class may schedule a make-up day for $25 per day missed as long as OnCourse Learning is notified within 48 hours from the last day of class. Persons registered for a Recertification class must register for another date at full price.
