Paul’s command to “put on the whole armor” prepares us for the battle to which all Christians currently belong: the battle for truth. The defense of truth and the offense against falsehood are both part of Paul’s imagery in Ephesians 6. We are surrounded by many false ideas which the truth of God’s existence dispels: for example; no hell, no good or evil, humans as ultimate authority, and more. We will explore this part of Paul’s letter - in context - since it is very timely for the culture in which we live.

This doubt partially came from the observation that Christians who professed God’s truth didn’t really attempt to live like it was true.
