Opportunity Finance Network invites CDFIs – including loan funds and community development credit unions – involved in microfinance or small dollar lending to participate in the CDFI Fund Capacity Building Initiative for Scaling Up Microfinance. The goal of this track is to expose microfinance CDFIs to best practices in the field as well as to tools to determine appropriate strategies to scale. The series includes advanced training and technical assistance opportunities.
Each training workshop listed will provide the same content focused on four key areas:
- Innovative Business Models
- New Microfinance Products
- Technology to Improve Performance and Efficiency
- Developing a Culture of Innovation and Talent Management
These workshops are advanced training for certified and emerging CDFIs. Class size is limited to 30. Two people per CDFI may attend the training workshops. If space permits, CDFIs may be allowed to send more than two people.
The registration survey (linked) below is your application to the training workshops. You will receive an email a few weeks before the training letting you know if you have been selected to participate in the training workshop. Please do not make your travel arrangements until your participation is confirmed.
