I need to make 10+ sleeping room reservations for my group attending the conference. How should I do this?For group reservations (10 or more with the same billing/payment only), contact Connie Lautenslager, Manager – Group Housing Services. Be sure to reference the Conference and our group codes that can be found on our Conference website here.
Is there a resort fee at the hotel?Yes, there is a mandatory $20 per night resort fee, based on single and double occupancy. Reservations for triple or quad occupancy reservations will incur an additional $20 per night resort fee. The resort fee is subject to tax.
What is included in the resort fee?
Is there a deposit required when I make my sleeping room reservation?Yes, a one-night room and tax deposit is mandatory upon reserving your room.
If my school/district is paying for my sleeping room reservation, what does the hotel need to make these arrangements?The hotel will require a one-night room and tax deposit for each reservation upon booking.
The hotel requires full pre-payment for all room, tax and mandatory resort fee charges, in the form of check or a completed credit card authorization form, by 06/05/2019. A wire transfer, check payment, or 3rd party credit card will not be accepted at time of check in at the hotel.
What is the hotel parking fee?Valet and self-parking are complimentary. This is subject to change by the hotel at any time.
REGISTRATION
How do I make a change to my registration, such as the days I am attending? You can use the link on your confirmation email to access your registration or you can call our Customer Satisfaction team at 1-800-462-1478.
What is the cancellation policy for the conference?At any time, you may transfer your registration to a colleague at your school with no penalty. Please contact our Customer Satisfaction team at 1-800-462-1478.
If you are not able to transfer your registration to a colleague, our refund policy is as follows:
Please remember that transferring your registration does not automatically transfer your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for transferring your own hotel and travel reservations.
Free administrator registrations are non-transferrable.
Can I register for the conference onsite?Yes. Onsite registration is located on Level 3 of the Congress Center inside the Venetian Resort

Continuing education credits are not part of any degree program. The credits may be used for salary increment steps and recertification. For specific information on each university or to download enrollment forms, visit www.SDE.com/About-SDE/Credit.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance? Yes. After the event, please watch for an email from us containing your certificate of attendance (sent to the email you used to register for the conference). By sending this important document to you electronically, you can print it immediately or save it for future reference. SESSIONS
How do I build my agenda?As you register, you will be given the chance to add sessions to your agenda. After you register, you'll be able to customize and update your agenda as often as you like.
When I add a session to my agenda, am I guaranteed a seat in the session?No. While we encourage you to add sessions to your agenda, this is for your own personal reference during the event, and you are NOT reserving a seat in the session. Therefore, adding a session to your agenda does NOT guarantee you a seat in the session. Sessions have limited capacity, and it is advisable to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
What sessions are available for my grade level?With 400+ sessions available to choose from, we are confident you’ll find sessions that fit your grade level. To search for sessions that apply to you, visit the conference website session tab and select your grade level from the drop down box (located above the full session list), and click search.
How do I access session handouts? You can access the digital handouts from our handout site or through the conference mobile app. Handouts will be available in the weeks prior to the event.
By registering for this conference, you will have unlimited online access for 12 months to all session handouts, lesson ideas, and reproducibles from the event (even for the sessions you did not attend). Save the PDFs to your device you bring with you to the conference for easy access during your sessions. And return to them after the conference as part of your personal library of professional development resources.

Are there any policies to adhere to in sessions? Yes, there are two policies to keep in mind when attending sessions. To ensure the best learning experience for all attendees, please turn off your cell phone or set it to vibrate before the start of each session. We ask that children not attend sessions to ensure the highest quality learning experience for all attendees.

Can I buy books or teacher resources at the conference?Yes! The exhibit hall features 100+ vendors & exhibitors and a bookstore that includes your favorite authors, educators, and session presenters! From Monday through Thursday, you’ll find great products, services, and resources tailored specifically to the PreK-12 education market.
Are there opportunities for me to win prizes from the exhibitors?Yes! Be sure to participate the exhibit hall booth bonanza! Pick up your booth bonanza coupon book at registration to enter raffles with participating exhibitors. Just fill out the coupon and drop off at the booth number shown.
How will I know if I won an exhibitor raffle prize?Exhibitors will be drawing and reaching out to the winners directly. Please check the app for winners toward the end of the conference.
