AdvancED Tennessee invites you to attend the Second Annual AdvancED Tennessee STEM Summit to be held in partnership with Dr. Sidney McPhee, President of Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tennessee on February 27-28, 2017.
The Summit will be held on the MTSU campus at the Student Union Center with morning work sessions devoted to an explanation of the new STEM protocol, process and standard used for AdvancED's STEM Certification for schools and school systems. Additionally, demonstrations of the new certification process, use of the STEM Standard and Indicators and details on how to become STEM Certified will be included in the training.
Afternoon work sessions will be a 'sharing of effective practices' from personnel in Tennessee and other states' schools and school systems. STEM school and school system demonstrations will highlight how Tennessee and other states are working to meet individual student needs with innovative STEM approaches.
