Frustrated by the absence of children and young people in the Family Violence discourse around Australia, two impressive young women are calling on you to help them make children and young people visible.

Please join Natasha and Annika to hear about the impact of invisibility on children and young people who are experiencing family violence. We will hear the outcomes of a workshop in which young people have worked together to develop solutions and ideas to help you to help them be seen.

We will also screen Annika's short film "The Hidden Victors" created during her residency as a Young Thinker at the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria."

The event will include a panel discussion with Natasha Anderson; Annika McCaffrey; Principal Commissioner for Children & Young People, Liana Buchannan; and Dr. Katie Lamb as well as an opportunity to discuss how you can be a better advocate for children and young people in this space.

We know it’s confronting, but it’s time to talk openly about this. It’s time to tell young people they don’t need to be ashamed of their experiences and that we know they are being hurt too.

This event is generously supported by The Victorian Government and the Victoria Against Violence campaign.
