When:
September 23–24, 2018; two half-day sessions within The Governance Institute’s September Leadership Conference

Where:
Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Track Summary:
The Governance Institute, in partnership with the Public Health Institute (PHI), has implemented a national strategy to help organizations build, manage, and maintain a population health and community benefit strategy designed specifically for the local geography in which they serve. The program will focus on building a knowledge and understanding of population health concepts and strategies for alignment with community stakeholders. There is no cost to participate. The program will be led by Dr. Kevin Barnett, Dr.P.H., M.C.P., Senior Investigator for the Public Health Institute, with participation by several nationally-recognized leaders in the healthcare and population health arena. All participants will complete an organizational self-assessment to identify areas of focus for potential innovations. We recommend that participating organizations include at least one senior executive leader (CEO, CNO, CFO, CMO, EVP, etc.) AND at least three board members from individual hospitals/at the health system level.
