ServSafe is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program accredited by the National Restaurant Association and the Conference for Food Protection. The program was developed to educate food service workers about food safety.ServSafe Food Protection Manager is the highest certification awarded by ServSafe. The manager training focuses on five aspects of food service that can affect the safety of food:• Foodborne Microorganisms and Allergens• Personal Hygiene• Purchasing, Receiving, and Storage• Preparation, Cooking, and Serving• Facilities, cleaning/ Sanitation and Pest ManagementThe certificate is earned by passing the ServSafe Manager exam with a 75% and the certification is valid for five years.You will not be allowed to attend class until your payment has been received.Due to the popularity of this workshop, checks must be received within 5 business days of registration. Any training materials purchased during registration are non-refundable. Any registration fees with a purchase of a manual and answer sheet (online or paper) will be reduced $85 plus the 12% registration fee and the $5.00 processing fee.Transfer Policy: If a registrant needs to transfer his/her registration to a different training event, contact the Education Store - edustore@purdue.edu at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled event to avoid a $20 late fee. The registrant will incur a 12% transfer fee plus $5.00 processing fee. Any Transfer made less than 5 business days in advance will incur a $20.00 late fee. Any transfer requests made after the original class date must be scheduled within 5 business days after the original class date. No refunds or transfers will be issued after this 5-day period.No Show Policy: If a registrant does not show up to the training, The Education Store must be notified within 5 business days. If the registrant does not reschedule and transfer to another training session within the 5 business days, the registration will be forfeited, and no refund of any type will be given. Transferring sessions will only be allowed once.Contact the Education Store to complete the transfer.
