Seventh Biennial Conference on Applied Legal Storytelling

The Seventh Applied Legal Storytelling Conference will bring together law professors and professors in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. The program crisscrosses the spectrum of legal storytelling, including presentations about wills, guardianships, criminal law, resistance and resilience, testimonial oaths, gender discrimination —and many more.  We look forward to seeing you in Boulder.

The Wolf Law Building is at 2450 Kittredge Loop Drive, Boulder, CO 80305.

Parking is available in Lots 402 and 407, adjacent to the Wolf Law Building, for $9 per day. Parking passes can be purchased through the Dean’s Office on the third floor – cash or check only – and must be displayed all day.  Metered parking is available in Lot 415.

What to Pack and Wear

In true Boulder fashion, the dress code for all portions of this conference, including the gala dinner, is “anything goes.” Boulder is a casual town, and even at most upscale venues, it’s rare to see people wearing ties or fancy dresses. That said, if you would like to make the gala dinner a dress-up affair, smart casual or cocktail attire would be appropriate. Be sure to bring a sweater or jacket, both for conference sessions and for the gala. Summer weather in Colorado is notoriously changeable, but the typical summer weather pattern is dry and hot during the day (low to mid 80s are projected for the conference week, but it often gets much hotter in July) with frequent late-afternoon thunderstorms and a significant temperature drop once the sun goes down (overnight lows in the high 50s).
