IMAGEThe more knowledge the public has about sexual health and the options available for ensuring and maintaining sexual health, the better. The content of this course is based on the strategies identified in the 2001'calls to action' by the United States Surgeon General, that acknowledge the positive aspects of sexuality and science-based approaches to address abroad range of sexual health issues, including prevention of STIs and HIV/AIDS,unintended pregnancy, and science-based sex education. This course is for people who want to enhance their skills related to the use of the Internet for accessing and applying relevant information related to global, national, and local health needs as they apply to sexual health and to address health promotion/disease prevention for targeted populations. It is intended that this course will help student increase their knowledge of multiple aspects of sexuality and to gain techniques to promote sexual health among diverse populations.
