ShaleTech 2018: Resurgence of Shale

Day 1: E&P Technology    Day 2: Water Management

The shale resurgence that began a decade ago shows no signs of slowing down. From the relatively new SCOOP/STACK plays in Oklahoma, to renewed interest in the Bakken, Marcellus and Eagle Ford shales, to the Permian Basin—the largest producing area in the U.S.—shale continues to be the prime driver behind the U.S. becoming a force in shaping the world’s oil and gas markets.

World Oil has been a strong advocate of the shale boom since the early 2000s and continues its support with ShaleTech 2018. The 2018 edition of ShaleTech will be held December 5-6 in Houston, Texas. The first day of the conference will focus on E&P technology. Meanwhile, World Oil is partnering with the Permian Basin Water Management Council for the second day of presentations, which will focus on water management

Throughout the conference, industry leaders, including operators, service providers, government officials and technological innovators, will address a wide range of topics. These include water management, digital infrastructure, transportation and supply, hydraulic fracturing, completion optimization and drilling efficiencies.
