A win-win, these projects help the students gain project experience while helping local businesses with critical projects.Students will share their key learnings from their projects and have time for Q&A. Topics to be presented are:• Improving Order Accuracy & Customer Satisfaction for Three Pilot Stores (Six Sigma and Lean Reduction to Practice)• Wexner OSU Medical Center (Six Sigma & ISE-Operations Research Reduction to Practice) • Diamond Innovations (Solid Lean Reduction to Practice)• National Church Residences (Lean and Mgmt Systems Engineering Reduction to Practice)• Allied Mineral Products (Logistics project)Students in the Integrated Systems Engineering (ISE) program at Ohio State have the opportunity to study and obtain Lean Six Sigma Certification under the direction of Dr. Scott Sink, Executive in Residence in the ISE program and Director of Lean Sigma Certification in OSU's College of Engineering.Students in the Fisher MBA Program study Lean Six Sigma under the direction of Peg Pennington, Executive Director of the Center for Operational Excellence and Operations faculty member.
