So You Inherited a Farm, Now What? - January 21 & 28

So, You've Inherited a Farm, Now What?

Anyone that owns farmland may want to participate in this seminar to be provided information and education about proper ownership considerations and trends.

Learn management strategies for this asset by attending this workshop via zoom on January 21 and 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Participants can use this workshop to learn about:
Should I be keeping the farm, or selling it?
How do I manage a farm?
If leasing, what are key lease provisions?
What legal considerations do I have with this decision?
How do we manage family communications and expectations when other family is involved?

Many times children who have inherited the farm ground from their parents are now managing the farm for the first time. The workshop will assist these new landowners in making the best informed decision they can about this asset.
Registration fee is $25 per family/farm operation and must be received by January 19.

Because of the popularity of this workshop, credit card payment is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. If registration includes a manual, it will not be shipped until payment is collected.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 12% registration fee + $5 processing fee. Manuals are non-refundable. NO REFUNDS will be processed after January 19th. If a participant of a virtual event experiences technical difficulties that prevent participation (other than event-wide difficulties), NO REFUNDS will be issued after the link to join that event has been provided.
Transfer options (if applicable) may be allowed up to five business days after the event start-date. This policy will be on a case-by-case basis.
If payment is not received by the date of the event, payment will be required at the door in order to attend.
