The 4th annual Social Communications & Healthcare: Case Studies and Roundtables will demonstrate new examples of how leading healthcare brands are accomplishing business objectives with social technologies. This year we will also focus on case studies demonstrating how major Pharmas and hospital groups are integrating social into their overall marketing and communications platform.
New for this year will be our panel, “Stakeholders of Healthcare Social Media” which will include practicing healthcare professionals such as nurses and physicians as well as patient advocates and bloggers. This will be a rare opportunity to hear directly from those on the front lines of providing and receiving healthcare services and their online interactions.
Brian McGowan, Ph.D., Columnist, Author & Education Technology Consultant will be moderating a panel including:- Phil Baumann, Registered Nurse, HealthIsSocial
- Dr. Howard Luks, Chief of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy, University Orthopedics, PC & Westchester Medical Center
- Sarah Krug, Executive Director, Cancer 101 & President-Elect, Society for Participatory Medicine
We expect 250 healthcare marketers and communicators to attend the half-day conference. Check out what our past attendees have said: Healthcare Attendee Quotes.
