Contemplating making a sparkling wine? Thinking of using the traditional or an alternative method to incorporate effervescence? If so, join us for this Sparkling Wine Production Workshop.

Participants will be introduced to a series of professionals that have been making sparkling wines for years in a number of different ways. Learn the basics about sparkling wine production, the chemistry behind a base wine, how to complete a second fermentation in the bottle, and stabilization tips for different styles of sparkling wines. In the afternoon, a series of producers will share their sparkling wines through a tasting and Q & A session with attendees.
This workshop is focused for a technical audience in wine and hard cider production and cellar management. Registrants must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID to attend.
This workshop will include an educational and professional wine tasting session. For the best possible tasting conditions, please avoid wearing strong smelling scents for this event.
