Spring 2018 CISA & CISM Exam Review

The Minnesota Chapter of ISACA® is sponsoring a five-week intensive review course to prepare candidates for the CISA and CISM exams. This Exam Cram meets for three hours Wednesday evenings from April 25 to May 30, 2018. The course offers practical advice on preparing for the CISA or CISM exam and specific instruction regarding the job practice areas addressed by exams as defined by ISACA® International.  The course also provides a quick recap of the exam content areas and extensive review of sample test questions.

Course objectives:

* Gain an understanding of the format and structure of the CISA or CISM certification exam
* Understand the various topics and technical areas covered by the exams
* Learn strategies, tips, and techniques for taking the exam
* Understand the testing approach

During Registration you will specify whether you will be sitting for the CISA or CISM exam. Each review course will be facilitated separately. The CISM exam cram course may not be held if we do not have a minimum number of registrants, but the CISA exam cram course will be held for any number of registrants.

The final week of the course will consist of final review and a practice exam.

Each week of the review courses will focus on one domain (in no particular order):

CISA domains: 
Domain One - The Process of Auditing Information Systems 
Domain Two - IT Governance and Management of IT 
Domain Three - Information Systems, Acquisition, Development and Implementation 
Domain Four -  Information Systems, Operations, Maintenance and Support 
Domain Five -  Protection of Information 

CISM domains:
Domain One - Information Security Governance
Domain Two - Information Risk Management and Compliance
Domain Three - Information Security Program Development and Management (two weeks)
Domain Four - Information Security Incident Management

In-Person Attendance is Highly Recommended, but this course will also be able to be viewed Live online via WEBEX. 

Please note: Registration for each exam is a separate cost from this Review Course

An excerpt of the ISACA study materials will be provided but not a complete set. It is recommended that the attendees look at ISACA bookstore for study materials to complement the course.
