Fees

 The Registration Fee covers the cost of the conference facilities, conference afternoon teas, the costs of the  guest speakers, the SPUMS convener and administrator and other administration costs. It also covers the cost of the social events, the midweek seafood buffet and the Gala Dinner. The welcome cocktail party is being sponsored by Solomon Tourism 

The accompanying person registration fee covers the social events and administration costs.

2019 Membership fees for SPUMS 

  • Full Membership $240
  • Associate Membership  $120 (this is a discounted fee for 2019)

 

Information for Delegates:

  1. Delegate Responsibilities:  Conference delegates and/or associates are responsible for organising their own health checks before travel, vaccinations and travel medication, travel insurance, travel to and from the conference venue, accommodation, meals, participation in the practical diving workshops, and any activities which are not part of the conference program.
  2. Conference delegates are advised to consult the Australian Government’s Smart traveller website: Australian Government Smart Traveller for advice and updates regarding travel to Solomon Islands, and to make their own independent decisions regarding travel, based on that advice.
  3. Conference registration:  Payment in full is required before conference registration will be confirmed. This payment covers the conference registration and nominated conference events only.
  4. Conference registration refund policy:  
    For cancellations prior to 20th February 2019 – full refund provided

    For cancellations 20th February to 20th April 2019 inclusive – 50% refund provided

    For cancellations after 20th April 2019, no refund 

    The above policy is necessary, because advance payments for the venue are required which are not refundable. 

  5. SPUMS will NOT be responsible for delegate’s travel, accommodation or any other costs in the event of a cancellation

All attendees name will be visible on the cvent attendee page. Unless we have your consent, SPUMS will not disclose or share any other personally identifiable information collected on our website with any third party (except as required by law or pursuant to a governmental request).
