Squeezed Out explores innovations in policy and design that encourage diverse and affordable communities inclusive of working and single- parent families, immigrants, artists and creatives, mobile home parks, small businesses, students and others. The conference brings together leaders from neighborhoods, towns, cities and the University of Colorado Boulder, and aims to build bridges between local governments, practitioners and researchers. It showcases opportunities to broaden access to housing, build small business ecosystems and enhance culture and creative industries.

Please also join the the Community Engagement Design and Research Center (CEDaR) for the opening reception, Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, 5:30-7 pm at University of Colorado Boulder's Environmental Design Building, 1060 18th St., ENVD 134. The reception, which will include appetizers and drinks, will feature student work selected through an APA-juried competition.
