Statistical Challenges and Opportunities in HIV/AIDS Research in the Era of Getting-to-Zero HIV Infections

This workshop will focus on research priorities for statisticians working in HIV-AIDS research. The purpose of the workshop is to bring together statisticians working in HIV-AIDS research to: highlight current topics in HIV/AIDS Research with novel statistical challenges, to galvanize methodological research in priority areas in HIV-AIDS research and foster collaborations between statisticians in these priority areas, and to identify opportunities to strengthen collaborations internationally- particularly where input from statisticians may be most needed.

The workshop will bring together statisticians and HIV/AIDS topic matter experts and will be organized as a pre-conference workshop, to occur in affiliation with Eastern North America Region (ENAR) 2019 for which it is anticipated that many statisticians working in HIV-AIDS would be attending in order to build interest and attendance in this workshop.
