Strategies for managing and understanding difficult behaviour
Teachers have a professional interest in maximising positive attitudes and behaviours that advance learning for all students. We know that some students have difficulty in keeping learning behaviours on track. If we understand what motivates off-task behaviour, and if we have strategies on hand for reorienting off-task behaviour, we can better meet the needs of all students.
In this workshop we will share and identify challenging classroom behaviours, unpack what gives rise to them, and repack them with management strategies and solution based approaches that support change. It’s really all about learning and how to build a community.
