This training will address the relationship between an advocate and survivor - a partnership based on advocacy and collaboration. While safety is the primary goal, this cooperative relationship often addresses housing, employment, education, life skills, goals, children’s needs and any other aspirations held by a survivor. Participants will learn the basics of case management focusing on possibilities rather than problems and utilizing tools to identify survivors’ strengths to help them reach their goals and dreams.
