Successful Local Anesthesia for Restorative and Endodontic Treatment
Friday, October 21, 2016
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Biomedical Research Tower

CE Credits: 6.0
Course Format: Lecture/Discussion

One of the goals in dentistry is to provide the patient painless treatment. Profound local anesthesia is an important part of this goal, but can be difficult to achieve. This lecture will focus on the successful management of pulpal pain using local anesthesia.

This lecture will review the clinical studies that have been conducted looking to improve local anesthesia success. This information can be used to develop an evidence-based strategy to help practitioners achieve profound pulpal anesthesia. Supplemental anesthetic techniques will be reviewed as well as new products available to the clinician.

Included in the registration fee is a copy of "Successful Local Anesthesia for Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics" authored by Al Reader, John Nusstein and Melissa Drum ($76 retail value).  This book, which will be provided to all registrants, provides practical and up-to-date information that is clinically valuable to any dentist who provides local anesthesia.  Click here to read a review of the book
