Fiona Boyd

Fiona Boyd is Director of Acuity Commodities. She has covered the global sulphur and sulphuric acid markets since 2008 with a specialized focus on the North American market.

Her expertise was developed under the mentorship of her father, Dr Robert Boyd. She has conducted numerous consultancy projects and regularly presents to clients and at industry events.

In addition, Fiona played a key role in the development of several industry publications including weekly reports on the domestic and global markets as well as market outlook reports.

Prior to joining the sulphur/sulphuric acid industry, Fiona was a consultant and market analyst in the real estate sector. Her primary focus was conducting feasibility studies for hotel development and residential land acquisition deals.

Fiona earned a bachelor of science from the University of Houston, where she graduated with honors.

Neil Fleishman
Neil Fleishman is the Senior Industry Analyst for Green Markets. Previously, he worked at the Susquehanna Int. Group as a trading desk Sector Specialist covering both the industrial and energy markets for the firm. He also has experience as a portfolio analyst for Evergreen investments.

Neil, a thought leader, developed three Green Markets Global Supply & Demand Models, for Nitrogen, DAP/MAP and Potash. He also authored the Cost Curve & Analysis research on Urea and Potash, detailing how supply and demand will effect pricing dynamics.

Along with these models, Neil regularly provides custom consultation on fertilizer supply and demand, and is a featured speaker at numerous industry events.
Usman Khalid
Usman Khalid is a management and marketing professional with over 10 years of agriculture industry experience. Currently working as Marketing Manager for Tiger-Sul Products, world’s largest Sulphur Bentonite producer. Usman has extensive experience in driving and managing businesses in the fertilizer, crop production and the seed sector for leading American and European global agribusiness giants.

Working for Tiger-Sul Products his key focus area is Sulphur value chain and its agricultural applications. Usman has been engaged in the development of International Sulphur and micronutrient markets, including the development and expansion of Tiger-Sul Products, sulphur based fertilizer production facilities globally.

Over all Usman has extensive experience in working globally in agriculture product development, new product launches, branding and product management for agricultural technologies, including fertilizer, seed, biotechnology traits and crop protection.
Vince Piazza
Vincent Piazza is Senior Energy Analyst-Global Energy Research Coordinator, at Bloomberg Intelligence. Bloomberg Intelligence is a unique research platform that provides context on industries, companies, and government policy, available on the Bloomberg Professional Service.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mr. Piazza was Senior Research Analyst at Lord Abbett with responsibility for large, mid-cap, SMID Cap E&P and Energy Services stocks. He previously held analyst positions at Fiduciary Trust Company, Deutsche Asset Management, S&P, UBS Investment Bank, and JP Morgan Chase.

Mr. Piazza received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Fordham University and a Master’s Degree in Finance from New York University. Mr. Piazza also maintains a Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation.
Adrian Tolson
Adrian Tolson, is 20|20’s Senior Partner and one of the shipping industry’s leading marine energy experts. With more than 30 years of experience he has a detailed knowledge and insight on the supply and demand side of fuel purchasing, as well as bunkering infrastructure development.

His experience spans leadership roles with some of the industry’s largest marine fuel suppliers, including Chemoil Energy, where he was responsible for successfully driving the company through to IPO, and, as Vice President and General Manager he established OW Bunker’s physical supply operation in the US.
Christopher Luettgen
Professor Luettgen has 25 plus years of industry experience, with Scott Paper and Kimberly-Clark Corp., where he most recently served as senior research and engineering manager for the Kimberly-Clark Professional business sector. He has held positions in product development and innovation as well as in capital project management and manufacturing facility leadership.

For several years, Luettgen has served on the RBI Industry Board of Advisors, and he is the current Chairman of the Board of the Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry (TAPPI). He earned his bachelor's degree in Paper Engineering at Western Michigan University (’85), his master’s degree at the Institute of Paper Chemistry, Appleton, WI (’87), and his Ph.D. at the Institute of Paper Science and Technology - now the Renewable Bioproducts Institute at Georgia Tech (’91).

He rejoined Georgia Tech in November 2014 as a Professor of the Practice in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Associate Director of Pulp, Paper and Packaging at RBI. He also serves as the Director of the undergraduate Pulp and Paper Certificate Program and its Foundation.
Gregory Miller

Gregory Miller is an economic consultant in private practice following a career spanning more than thirty-five years as a University instructor and small business contractor, an economic forecaster, corporate, government, and client advisor, and business media expert guest speaker.

A specialist in banking economics, policy, and regulation, Mr. Miller was SunTrust Banks, Inc. Chief Economist and Senior Vice President for more than 25 years – serving as primary forecaster and advisor on economic matters to executive management and select clients.

Before that Mr. Miller taught economics and at the University of South Florida and served as Associate Director of the Center for Economic and Business Research.

He has been a regular contributor to business media including Bloomberg News, CNBC, Reuters, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and the Financial Times.

Mr. Miller is active in the National Association for Business Economic. He is also a past Chair of the American Bankers’ Association Economic Advisory Committee – a national group of economists who meet with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

Kurt Bitting

Kurt Bitting is the Director of Marketing and Sales for Eco Services Operations, the North American leader for Sulfuric Acid Regeneration and Virgin Sulfuric Acid supply.

Kurt has been with Eco Services since 2006 and has managed the Regeneration, Virgin Acid, and Sulfur Products businesses. Prior to Eco Services Operations, Kurt held management positions at Kinder Morgan Terminals and Sprint Corporation.

As a Captain in the U.S. Army, Kurt served as a Company Commander in the 10th Mountain Division. Kurt graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Business Administration and holds an M.B.A from Rider University.

Hugh MacGillivray

Mr. MacGillivray is the Executive Vice President of Commercialization for Anuvia Plant Nutrients.

Hugh has over 30 years sales, marketing and business development experience in the agricultural industry with multi nationals and startups living in Canada, Germany and the US. Prior to joining Anuvia Plant Nutrients he was Head of Marketing and Business Development for Arysta LifeScience North America and Head of Arysta LifeScience Canada.

Mr. MacGillivray has held key roles with Cargill Hybrids Seeds, Rooster.com, Hoechst/AgrEvo/Aventis and has served as a board member for CropLife Canada.

Joel Stone

Joel is the President of ConVergInce Advisers, and serves as Executive Vice President of Lee Enterprises Consultants, the world’s premier bioeconomy consulting group. He has been a long-term visionary and respected leader in commercialization of industrial biotechnology.

ConVergInce Advisers is focused on delivering “Visionary & Innovative Solutions” including commercialization assistance for advanced technology clients in renewable chemicals, biochemicals, biofuels, and agricultural and biobased ingredients for food and consumer products.

Joel is the former President of Green Biologics Inc. where he led the development of the commercial platform of the company in North America for renewable n-butanol and acetone for use in the renewable specialty and performance chemical markets.

Previously he was responsible for leading several biofuel companies to commercial success where he has built and started up nearly a half billion gallons of biofuel capacity.

He has provided leadership at companies including ASAlliances Biofuels, Abengoa, Balchem Corp, Opta Food Ingredients, and Genencor. Joel holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic University; and an M.S. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

He serves as a Board Advisor for the Biorenewable Deployment Consortium and serves on the GC3 Startup Network Steering Committee.

Manny Xidias
With over 16 years experience, Manny Xidias is currently president of Ifchor North America. His vast experience covers all aspects of bulk / break-bulk logistics for a variety of commodities with heavy emphasis on the steel, fertilizer and the aluminum industries. Emphasis of experience is with trucking, warehousing, barging, stevedoring which adds to the full transportation mix available to client needs.

Prior to joining Ifchor, Manny was Vice President Mid-Ship Marine, New York, Vice President Mid-Ship Marine, Dubai and General Manager, Mid-Ship China.
Andrew Cosgrove
Andrew is responsible for conceptualizing, constructing and maintaining research dashboards for the metals & mining sectors with a focus on drilling and oilfield services, as well as North American exploration and production.

Previously, Andrew covered a wide range of commodities including base and precious metals, steel, iron ore and coal.
