Summer Conference 2017

Tuesday, August 15, through Friday, August 18, 2017

Filled with His Wisdom

“We continually ask God to fill you with knowledge of his will through all the wisdom
and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and please him in every way” (Colossians 1:9–10 NIV)

Keynoters Frank Peretti and Tessa Afshar

Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. (PDT) Thursday, August 10 so that we can order conference meals.  After that, there will be no new registrations until Tuesday, August 12 at 2:00 when conference registration reopens at the increased walk-in tuition rates, and meals cannot be included.

Those interested in the 5-hour preconference seminar “Create Compelling Novels and Screenplays” at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, may register at the door for that session beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Cost is $130 (price includes deli lunch).

Each year OCW brings top national editors, agents, and award-winning authors to help writers of all levels and multiple genres take their writing to the next level. We hope you will join us for this rich time of fellowship, learning, and worship—a time to study the craft, meet editors and agents, get feedback, receive next-step advice from mentors, and refresh your writing goals.

Special highlights include critique Nite Owls, and the Thursday evening Cascade Awards and dessert reception. Visit Summer Conference links for information about book editors, agents, mentors, and manuscript submissions guidelines.
